Message from our “Prez”:
December Message:
I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and are ready to have a great year in 2008! The January Meeting was held at Fin's Restaurant on January 19, 2008. Thanks to all for coming out and staying for the confusion! It's a little difficult to have a meeting in the middle of all the action in a restaurant. I gave an update on Boat Drinks 2008, which will be at The Lighthouse Restaurant again this year, but we will have two bands. Jim Morris and The Calypso Nuts. More info will follow soon. We held our election for our charities for Boat Drinks and the results were as follows: Alzheimers Association and MERR will be our charities for 2008 once again. We need someone who would be willing to take over handling the club T-shirts & sweatshirts. I have no room to store them. Please let me know if you can handle this for the club! We are also looking for someone who is computer savy who would be willing to take over updating our website. Please let me know if anyone is willing to handle this! Angela Ross has been doing this for years and she is so busy, she really needs a break, thanks Angela! That's all for now
prez,
Debbie
