Message from our “Prez”:

Hello fellow Parrotheads!!!

Thanks to all who turned out for our June meeting on the 15th, at the Lighthouse!  We had a record turn out of 37 people attend, and although we were on a short time schedule, we still managed to squeeze in quite a bit.  I presented the fund raiser checks to Suzanne from MERR and Edna from The Alzheimer’s Association.  We also had Melinda from the Amish Parrothead Club attend our meeting.  She brought with her the quilt her club made (which ahs our club shirt as part of it…) and the really cool motorized cooler, which she sold quite a few raffle tickets on.  Hopefully one of our members will win!!   The picture of the quilt on the internet does not do it justice.  It’s awesome!  The Alzheimer’s Association donated a stadium blanket and two travel insulated mugs for us to raffle off.  We had a few items we raffled off and raised $110.00, which is being put in the Christmas Fund.  Our next meeting is going to be held on Saturday July 21st, at the Lighthouse at 7:30 p.m.  That date is also the Dolphin Count, so I hope to have a good turn out for that function.   More info. will follow for the dolphin count.  The next meeting will also include a 50/50 drawing, as well as more raffle items being offered.  That’s all for now, enjoy the summer and hope to see you all soon!

Your Prez,

Debbie
